Parents of current Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors,
The following email went to all 10th - 12th-grade students on September 6 from Mrs. Conley:
PHS will be hosting an ACT test on Saturday, December 10. I will be offering 2 Math ACT prep sessions on Saturday, November 26, and Saturday, December 3 for students interested in studying the math section. Additionally, for English, or Science I have plenty of practice tests - if you would like access to my materials please let me know, I am happy to share them.
This is not the mandatory ACT, this is the optional ACT test that you pay to take (unless you qualify for a free test - ask Nolan).
November 26
9:00 am - 12:00 pm -> Junior High Math/Algebra 1 Problems (This is 60% of the test - you will gain the most points reviewing this!)
1:00 pm - 4:00 pm -> High School Geometry/Algebra 2/ Trig Problems
December 3
9:00 am - 12:00 pm -> Junior High Math/Algebra 1 Problems (This is 60% of the test - you will gain the most points reviewing this!)
1:00 pm - 4:00 pm -> High School Geometry/Algebra 2/ Trig Problems
If you are planning to attend one session, or both sessions then please sign up on the Google Form linked below. If no one signs up for a specific date, then I will cancel that study session. If you are not planning to take the ACT in December, the next time to take it in Pleasanton is on February 28, which will be free for all current juniors. I will offer two more study sessions before that test and will announce the times when it gets closer.
