
On Thursday, Nov. 11 Uniontown visits Pleasanton for JH basketball. There will be full A and B games but no C games for girls and boys. Games start at 5:30 PM.

The JH A teams were in action tonight playing Southeast. The girls worked hard but fell to the Lancers. The boys took the lead early and held it for the rest of the game taking the victory 17-14. They both play at home on Thursday against Uniontown.

The JH boys and girls B basketball teams traveled to Southeast tonight. Both teams fought hard and put forth a good effort. Unfortunately, Southeast was victorious in both games. Both teams are in action again on Thursday when Uniontown comes to town.

Good Morning Blu-Jays! Just a reminder that our Veteran's Day assembly will be held in the High School Gymnasium at 9 am. on Thursday, November 11th. All Veterans and community members are welcome to attend. There will be a reception for the Veterans after the ceremony. Please wear your Red, White and Blue!

The JH basketball girls and boys play at Southeast Cherokee tomorrow (Tuesday, Nov. 9). It will begin at 5:30 PM. There will only be A and B games for both. There will be no C games.

The JH basketball boys played host to Jayhawk tonight at home. The B team played their hearts out but didn't come away with the win. The A team played well and with a lot of teamwork. They triumphed over Jayhawk by the score of 23-20. They play at Southeast tomorrow.

the JH basketball girls were back in action tonight at home vs Jayhawk. The C team girls played a 10 minute quarter and lost 0-2. The B teams girls played valiantly but came up short 10-13. The A team played hard but fell to Jayhawk, also. They play again tomorrow at Southeast.

The HS scholar bowl team traveled to Yates Center tonight for their first match of the season. They beat Eureka and Marmaton Valley but fell to Burlington, Crest, Frontenac, Iola, and Yates Center. Pleasanton finished 5th of 8 teams. Good job!

The boys JH basketball team took to the floor tonight to play Crest. The B team boys dropped their game 1-13. The A team boys played a thriller, and in triple overtime fell to Crest by the score of 24-26. They will play Jayhawk in Pleasanton on Monday starting at 5:30 PM.

In JH girls basketball action tonight, the C teams girls dropped their game 2-8, the B teams girls picked up a win 10-4, and the A teams girls fell 13-39. They will play Jayhawk in Pleasanton on Monday starting at 5:30 PM.

Just to note, in JH basketball at Crest on Thursday, Nov. 4, there will be one 10 minute running qtr. of C girls. There will be 2 quarters of girls and boys B games. Finally, there will be a full game of boys and girls A team. Games will be C, then B, then A starting at 5:00.

The Blu-Jays fought till the end but came up short against Valley Heights by the score of 14-29. Congrats, men, on a great effort and much improvement throughout the season.

This just in: Congrats go out to Bailey Myrick for garnering 2nd Team All-League and Kara Umphenour for getting HM All-League volleyball honors tonight. Way to make us proud, ladies!

Schedule Change: The JH basketball games at Crest on Thursday, Nov. 4, will start at 5:00 instead of 5:30.

The Blu-Jays volleyball team traveled to St. Mary’s-Colgan today for Sub-State play. In their first match, they played fourth-seeded Erie. The first set was we were outscored 14-25, and the second we dropped 18-25. Congrats on your hard-fought play throughout the year, ladies.

Regional Cross Country Results:
Rees Chapman and DJ Meik participated in the Regional cross country meet at Central Heights today. Rees ran a personal best time of 28:51.20, and DJ ran a seasonal best of 20:34.93. Neither advanced to state, but both finished the season strong.



A HUGE congrats go out to the Blu-Jays players and coaching staff tonight. They pulled of a MONSTER win against Central Heights 20-7. I believe this ensures a home playoff game next week. When brackets are finalized, I will post who and when we play! Outstanding performance!!!
