HS Basketball Update:
There will be no HS basketball at Bronaugh tomorrow, Feb. 17. Per Pleasanton School policy - no extracurricular activities may take place if school is cancelled. We will host Southeast on Friday, Feb. 18 as long as school is in session that day.
Good evening, Due to impending weather school will not be in session Thursday February 17th.
Your varsity Blu-Jays faced off with Hume tonight in Pleasanton. The boys played hard but couldn't come away with the victory. They will play Thursday at Bronaugh. Come out and support them!
Your Lady Jays faced off with Hume tonight in varsity basketball action. Pleasanton fought hard throughout but ultimately fell to the Hornets by the score of 38-29. They will be back in action Thursday when they travel to Bronaugh.
The JV Blu-Jays played host the the Hornets from Hume tonight. In two quarters of action, your Blu-Jays bettered their opponent by the score of 18-9. They will next take the floor for two quarters of action when they travel to Bronaugh Thursday, Feb. 17. Congrats, fellas.
Update:
JV boys will play two quarters tonight vs Hume instead of a full game. They will still start at 5:00 PM.
In HS basketball action tonight (Tuesday, Feb. 15), your Blu-Jays will be hosting Hume. It will be Senior Recognition Night as well. The JV boys will play a full game starting at 5:00 PM in the main gym. Following that, the varsity girls will take to the court. Senior recognition will take place after the varsity girls game, and the varsity boys will conclude the night. There will be no JV girls' game as our opponents do not have enough girls to play JV. Come out and support your Blu-Jays.

Happy Valentine’s Day! It was great having parents in the building for our parties again. We appreciate all the work our teachers do and the support from our families to make these celebrations memorable.

Your Blu-Jays are next in action Tuesday evening when Hume comes to town. It will be Senior recognition night as well.
First, second and third grade students all had a great time at The Great Blu Jay Migration assembly today. Each class has been earning points for the game by following school-wide and classroom rules and expectations. The more points they earn the greater advantage they have in the game. There were some real exciting moments in today’s game and the kids had a great time. Additionally, both Coffey’s and Nolan’s classes earned an ice cream sandwich party. Our Blu Jays are becoming real world travelers.
Our amazing spellers represented Pleasanton well. They all did a fantastic job under a great deal of pressure.

There will be basketball at Oswego on Friday, Feb. 11. Starting at 5:00 PM the JV boys will play two quarters. The HS girls will follow them, and the HS boys will follow the girls. There will be no JV girls as Oswego does not have enough girls to play JV. Come out and support your Blu-Jays!
Your Blu-Jays fought through some adversity in the fourth quarter and came away with a win against Uniontown 48-44. Congrats, way to keep your heads at the end of the game.
After one quarter, your Blu-Jays are knotted up 12-12 with Uniontown.
Your Lady Jays take one on the chin tonight in Uniontown. They fought hard but couldn’t come away with the victory. They go on the road to Oswego on Friday.
At the half, your Lady Jays trail Uniontown 21-8.
