
After one quarter, your Lady Jays are down 6-5 to Uniontown.

The JV boys traveled to Uniontown tonight for two quarters of action. They played hard throughout but the score didn’t end the way we wanted. Your Blu-Jays fall to the Eagles 19-10.

Basketball at Uniontown Update:
The JV boys game (2 quarters) will start at 5:00 PM this evening in the WBE gym. The high school girls will follow that. However, we will try to start the HS girls as close to 6:00 PM as we can. The HS boys will follow the girls. Due to some unforeseen circumstances on our opponent's side, there will be no JV girls' game.

Due to some unforeseen circumstances, there will be no JV girls game, and the JV boys will only play two quarters. Start time for the JV boys may be 5:00 PM, but I am waiting to hear back from Uniontown. I'll post when I find out. The varsity girls will start close to 6:00 PM and will be followed by the varsity boys. Come out and support your Blu-Jays!

Courtwarming/Senior Night Update:
Senior Night will be on Tuesday, Feb. 15 when we play Hume.
Courtwarming will now be on Friday, Feb. 18 when we play Southeast.
The game vs Chetopa will be made up on Monday, Feb. 21. It will consist of a varsity girls and a varsity boys game. There will be no JV games. The varsity games will start at 6:00 PM.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Courtwarming and basketball games for Friday, Feb. 4 have been cancelled as Chetopa Schools are not in session, and they will not be making the trip to Pleasanton. We are working on a possible make-up date. I will post that date on social media as soon as I know. Stay safe

Your varsity Blu-Jays played Crest tonight in Pleasanton. Although the outcome isn't what we had hoped for, the boys played hard and stayed competitive throughout the contest. Keep working hard and keep improving, men.

Your JV lady Blu-Jays played two quarters vs Crest tonight. In an exciting matchup that came down to the wire, the Pleasanton crew eeked out the victory 10-6. Way to play, ladies.

Good evening. With the forecasted conditions for February 2nd school will not be in session.

Your lady Blue-Jays hosted Crest tonight in varsity basketball action. The ladies played very well defensively being up 16-4 at the half. They cruised to victory in the second half by a final score of 35-19. Congrats. ladies.

The JV Blu-Jays faced off with Crest tonight in Pleasanton. The boys kept it close throughout and played with a lot of heart. Unfortunately, the final score was not in our favor. Keep working, men.

Attention Band Parents: Band Meet Time is 4:30 pm. in the band room. Flavor Full Bites will be providing a meal for all band members during the 3rd quarter of the girls game. Go Blu-Jays!

Due to possible weather moving in Tuesday evening, the following schedule has changed for the HS basketball games vs Crest on Tuesday, Feb. 1:
Elem. gym: 5:00 PM - JV boys (full game)
Followed by JV girls (two quarters)
HS gym: 5:00 PM - HS girls
Followed by HS boys
Notice that the boys JV will play before the girls JV. Also notice that the HS girls will start at 5:00 PM.

Your Blu-Jays matched up with Altoona-Midway tonight in varsity basketball action. They played with intensity throughout the contest but couldn’t secure the victory. They will face Crest Tuesday. Come out and support your Blu-Jays.

Your Lady Blu-Jays traveled to Buffalo to face Altoona-Midway tonight. The girls played hard for four quarters and pulled out the win 38-25. They will face Crest Tuesday in Pleasanton. Come out and show them your support. Congrats, ladies!

Our Big Ideas Experience Team hit a home run with today’s assembly. The topic……Self Control: Choosing to do what you should even when you don’t want to. The program had a ton of interaction with the students and was a big hit. Here are a few pictures…
