
In JV volleyball at Chetopa, the girls took on Marmaton Valley. Playing inspired volleyball, the Blu-Jays won the first set 28-26. Pleasanton played well the final two sets but lost both by scores of 21-25 and 10-15. This was the final match of the JV season.

In HS volleyball action tonight, the Blu-Jays traveled to Chetopa. In their first match the ladies prevailed over Chetopa 25-22, 25,22. In their final match of the night, the Blu-Jays fell to Marmaton Valley 14-25, 14-25. Nice job, ladies.

The JH football Blu-Jays played host to Northeast tonight. The game was close in the first half, but the boys couldn’t muster a comeback in the second. Northeast gave our boys a loss, but the Blu-Jays played hard.

The JH volleyball girls A and B teams faced Northeast tonight at home. The B girls pulled the victory in three sets. The A team played well and took it to three sets, pulled fell to Northeast. Good effort, girls!

The Blu-Jays hosted Northern Heights and once the clock started, the rout was on. Playing with renewed determination, the Blu-Jays scored early and often. In what proved to be a lopsided affair, your Blu-Jays thrashed a Northern Heights team by the score of 67-16. Congrats, men!

In JH football action tonight the Blu-Jays battled Uniontown. The boys played hard but came up on the short side of the scoreboard.

Our JV volleyball Blu-Jays matched up against Oswego and Yates Center today. In their first match, the ladies outlasted Oswego by scores of 28-30, 25-22, and 15-11. In their final match, the Blu-Jays fell to Yates Center by scores of 14-25, 25-19, and 6-15. Good job, ladies!

The varsity volleyball Blu-Jays traveled to Oswego for a tri today. The first match saw the ladies drop two sets to Oswego by scores of 13-25 and 22-25. The second match saw our Blu-Jays fall in three sets to Yates Center by scores of 25-22, 18-25, and 20-25.

The JV football Blu-Jays were in action tonight playing host to the Olpe Eagles. The boy’s played hard through the contest but didn’t come away with the victory.

The HS football Blu-Jays took to the road to for a contest in Olpe. The first quarter was a bit rough, but the team held its own in the second. There was minimal scoring in the second half. Unfortunately, the boys ended up on the short side of the final score.

Due to illness, the JH volleyball girls will not be attending the tournament in Uniontown this Saturday Oct. 2. For the players that are at school there will still be practice this week. As of now, plans are to attend the JH volleyball tri at Southeast Cherokee on Monday, Oct. 4.

The HS volleyball Blu-Jays were on the road tonight to play Altoona and Southeast. With regained vigor, they managed to sweep both opponents in straight sets beating Altoona 25-23, 25-19 and Southeast 25,21 25-20. Impressive play all around! Congrats, ladies!

JH football played host to Drexel on Monday night. After a spotty first half, the boys played a better second half. However, they fell to their opponents by the score of 46-22.

Due to illness, JH volleyball at Crest is canceled for Monday, Sept. 27.

The Blu-Jays hosted Troy tonight in varsity football. The first half was a struggle, but the second half saw much improved play. Unfortunately, the Blu-Jays didn’t get the win tonight.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the 8th grade volleyball team will not be attending the tournament at Cherokee tomorrow.
