USD 344 Inclement Weather Procedures

As we get further into the winter season, we wanted to take a moment to review the procedures to communicate inclement weather cancellations and/or delays.
In the case of inclement weather conditions that may exist the evening prior to a school day, an alert will be sent no later than 10:30 pm to notify of school cancellation. In situations where inclement weather moves in or conditions worsen overnight, the decision to cancel school will be announced no later than 6:00 am the morning of school.
The announcement to cancel school due to inclement weather will be made through the following modes:
- Phone Call, Text and Email Alert
- ParentSquare App
- USD 344 Website
- Pleasanton Schools USD 344 Facebook Page
